Custom Stickers for the Stars – And You, Too!
Have you ever had sticker envy? The machines of pro racers feature cool custom decals depicting cartoon characters or wildly colorful graphics. Have you ever wondered who might be able to make something similar for you? Here’s the answer. DrippinWet, a company that designs custom graphics for helmets, bodywork, windscreens or anything else that they’ll stick to, can print up stickers made to your spec in no time at all.
Chris Kruzel, owner of DrippinWet, is very passionate about what he does. While racing motocross, he became an expert at applying and placing stickers onto dirtbike plastics. After purchasing an Aprilia RSV, Kruzel started shopping around on eBay for some new stickers. The decals that he received were thin and not laminated. Figuring that he could create a better product, Chris purchased a small machine and began designing, printing and marketing his own line of stickers. A year later, Kruzel bought a larger machine and began to expand the company. The stickers that Chris prints today are thick, easy to apply and will definitely set your motorcycle apart from the rest. “People always ask me if DrippinWet is a porn site,” Chris chuckles. “I actually started out painting helmets, so that’s where the name comes from.” However, printing stickers is not actually Chris’s full time job. “I do the daytime thing,” Chris says, “And thank God for my wife. She’s the backbone of this whole operation. I print the graphics and she makes sure they get shipped out. I really couldn’t do it without her.” If you’ve spent any time on the WERA forum, you’ve probably seen Chris’s 60-plus page thread dedicated to photos of his work, ranging from nickname and cartoon character stickers to complete race bodywork graphics. Chris’s work is also very popular in the AMA Pro series, where scores of riders haul his work around the racetrack. Even DrippinWet’s tagline, “Who the hell is Chris Kruzel?” can be found on many T-shirts worn throughout the paddock. “I chose that tagline because a lot of people seemed to know about my work but had never met me, so it seemed to fit,” Chris laughs, “But I'm working hard to change that. I always have time to meet people, say ‘hello,’ and answer any questions that they may have for me.”
