Komodo Leathers: Tough as Texas

If there is any downside to the way Komodo builds their leathers, it s that the suits are heavy.  You can’t keep adding extra layers of leather Fisk getting frisky in his K/LT by Komodoand doubling up the armor if your goal is light weight.  Komodo is unconcerned that their suits outweigh the competition.  Their philosophy is that the purchase of a leather suit should be an investment, both in regards to your personal safety and in the fact that you should be able to continue using it through multiple get-offs.  If you compare their three models to the competition, you’ll see that many suits at the same price points or above are less protective and in some cases could even be considered “One crash” leathers.

Having researched, inspected and ridden in their offerings, we can’t help but be blown away by Komodo’s line of leather racing suits.  Whichever model you choose, you’ll be getting uncompromised protection at a price that’s almost embarrassingly good for the quality of the product.  If you’re new to the sport, perhaps these leathers will seem too expensive and you’ll wind up going for something cheaper. You’ll learn.
