TechSpec tankThe extreme performance of modern motorcycles makes it very important for riders to be able to maintain a good grip on their machines.  Priced between $41.95 & 44.95,TechSpec Gripster Tank Pads are designed to make it possible to do exactly that.  Gripster pads are available for most sportbike brands, including Aprilia, BMW, Buell, Triumph and Ducati, as well as the major Japanese manufacturers, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. TechSpec-USA will make custom tank grips as well, so it’s safe to say that they have a product for nearly every application.

TechSpec’s Gripster pads differ significantly from their leading competitor in several ways: First, they’re available in any color that you want as long as it’s black. The black synthetic rubber means that no unsightly air bubbles or finger prints will show through should you happen to install yours to a dirty tank in the paddock at sunset on a cool Saturday night while drinking a beer and shooting the bull with your track buddies.  Second, The TechSpec-USA Gripster pads use a proprietary reusable adhesive.  If you want to change their positioning once you’ve installed them, no problem! Simply peel, remove and reapply.

The difference between TechSpec and the competition doesn’t stop there.  They also have a different approach to the way their product creates traction between bike and rider.  Rather than rely on nubs to poke at the rider’s leathers as other products do, TechSpec's method of achieving a solid grip is based on the friction properties of its material’s surface. TechSpec offers its Gripster pads in two textures; called Snake Skin and High Fusion. Both are thinner and softer than the competition.  The High Fusion pad is a .035" thick synthetic rubber blend with a simple rough texture similar to an exaggerated leather grain. The Snake Skin features a similar but thicker synthetic rubber compound with a raised diamond grid pattern. TechSpec claims that With Snake Skin’s .125" thickness and the rubber padding properties, one will not only feel an excellent GRIP into the tank, less pressure on wrists, elbows and shoulders, but could also notice a reduction in shock and vibration from the bike and road”.  Additionally, TechSpec claims that their Gripster pads will:
