I was wanting to do a trackday school/ riding clinic or whatever you want to call them. I'm mostly an intermediate rider, my frequent track I ride advanced. I want to take a school and I'm not sure which one I want. For the most part, the popular ones seem good and have good reviews. I was curious what some on here had to say about schools they have attended. My request is I dont want to travel half way across the continent to attend, and I'd really like to keep the cost around three hundred. I'm not gonna be a racer, so I dont need the "best" out there. I need good and fun, thats what I want. Also I'm in Illinois so anything close I'll entertain. Thank you fellow track addicts for the help in my addiction. Brent Sudduth

Hi Brendt,
It looks like Blackhawk Farms trackdays have just what you're after. Friday race practices include a raceing school that would be right up your alley. Safety First's Kevin Hanson and AMA privateers Brian Hall and Scotty Ryan teach the school. I would benefit if I took a school from those top-level racers and I've got an AMA license myself. For you, it would be the trackday of a lifetime. I think the cost is about $250, so it fits your budget. Check out the Motovid and Blackhawk websites for more info. If you end up faster than me, I'll be pissed!

Ha ha thats funny.......you know its gonna happen sooner or later I just found that on the MSB site. Hadn't been there in bit. Whats funny is when ever I end up behind you, I'll try to hang with you as long as I can. Its really help me alot, but you are one fast mother trucker when you wanna be! I think I'm gonna do one in May.
