Leaving tonight. Headed down with Hopeton Walker, David Vaughn and Don Cook. Don't know if the wrist will work well enough to let me ride but if not, just sitting in that classroom again will be well worth it!
Sweet Home Alabama!

Sshhwing!! Stopped at Jim Beam distillery, Dinosaur World, Mammoth Cave and Big Mike's Rock Store in Kentucky on the way down. Très spicy chicken at the Korean restaurant here in Nashville may keep me up all night though.
I love a road trip... |

Rolled in this morning at 5am from Alabama. I drove the 11 hours alone in the middle of the night and had so much to think about that I was wide awake the entire trip. I kept going over and over the things we covered. Lines, drills, braking, body position, demos, on and on. When I got home I should have been exhausted but I still couldn't shut off my mind. These guys have really nailed it. More to come from K3 I'm sure...

We got in at 6:00am. Long drive. Don't know how you did it alone, Don.

I loved riding and hanging with you guys at the Speed Academy. Don, thanks for the ride to dinner; Cindy and I appreciate it. K3, you muscled that Giggy thou pretty good around Tally with the mending hand. Don, looking real good on that Giggy Sixx. Hopeton, we almost swapped some paint exiting turn 4, that was interesting and fun!

Tea, you SHOULD be jealous. It was the ultimate way to end a season on a high note. Not to spoil the article but the punchline is that yes, Speed Academy is totally worth taking more than once!
Yeah, Hopeton became a DiSalvo success story when he found speed like he'd never shown in his career. That was the best part!

Valster, thanks for jumping onboard our forum. Your body position was awesome and that Senfiddo was just hawt to look at. BTW, bees like your wax. They hover around your bike and helmet like crazy on the grid. It was fun bumping your rear tire every time I pulled up behind you!
